A child should be evaluated when coughing or wheezing repeatedly occurs at night, during exercise, after viral infections or following exposure to triggers such as dust, smoke or allergens. Persistent or recurrent wheezing, night cough and breathlessness during activity can be warning signs of childhood asthma.  Dr. Ashok's expertise includes childhood asthma and pediatric respiratory disorders.
