Types of Mouth Guards to Protect Your Teeth

There are  three  types of  Mouth Guards. The number one  will be  stock  guards that are available in the sports  centre and  it  generally  does not fit very  we and it is  basically  used in cycling, boxing or  skating sports  where you need  to protect your face and teeth  so that any of the accidents do not  break the structure.  The second type is  the boil  and use type of guards.  Here what happens is it is made  up of  a flexible material and try to  temper it and  see if it tightly fixes  on to or  tooth structure  and oral cavity. So it is can also be given in   the mouth as night  guards. These  night  guards   and is when you are having some kind  of teeth grinding like in  bruxiusm, like when you are having  some temporomandibular disorders, as  a  splint, you are   also using something like this, the third thing is when a dentist customizes  a guard  to you and that depends on the  case.  It  can be  to protect  your braces,  say these days  I see  a lot of children engaging in skating, and swimming, they are  running through  an age  where they are undergoing orthodontic  treatment, so  we customize  guards  to protect their orthodontic braces  as  well as  to protect the teeth. So the dentist  alone  will have  to fabricate  for your sizes because preference is  to going to have a  very good set of teeth.   There is going to   be a buccal eruption and  depends on that he dentist will decide  and also if  you have undergone  extensive  treatment like   a prosthesis, like a full mouth of  crowns and bridges you will use night  guards  to protect the crown and bridges, ht time  also  we customize  the guards and we call it as a night guard in under to protect the oral structures and the  prosthesis for being  broken so these are the set of guards we give to our patients.
