In most cases, frequent nosebleeds in kids are not serious. They are often caused by dry air, nose picking, frequent colds or allergies, etc.

However, you should consult an ENT specialist if:

  • The nosebleeds are heavy or hard to stop
  • They happen often, especially without a clear reason
  • Your child also bruises easily or has other bleeding issues
  • The bleeding is only from one side every time

Evaluation by an ENT specialist can help find and treat the cause.
