Post the operation patients are offered weight management services inclusive of diet and nutrition care as well as rehabilitation and physiotherapy where necessary. Completing the comprehensive Bariatric surgery package, Aster CMI also offers cosmetic surgery and body contouring after weight loss. A multidisciplinary team of specialists take care of all the bariatric patients. There are 5 bariatric suites which are unique and custom-designed for the overweight patient are available. Motorized beds, broader doors, strong furniture with weight-bearing abilities of up to 250 kgs and even toilets that are ground-mounted are available in these suites. Special diagnostic needs of MRI and CT have been provided, with extra care being taken to be able to accommodate heavy patients.
