In preclinical studies, a novel nanoparticle-based formulation eliminated glioblastoma tumors in mice after just two injections. Remarkably, when the tumor cells were introduced again after 90 days, the tumors did not return—suggesting a potential immune memory response.

Dr. Ramesh Doddamani, Professor of Neurosurgery and Neuro-Oncologist at AIIMS, explains the challenges of treating glioblastoma and the potential of this research.

The next step is to work toward human clinical trials in collaboration with AIIMS, subject to further safety and efficacy studies.
