Dr. Arathi explains the procedure step by step, including how to prepare the saline solution, position the nasal wash bottle correctly, and perform the wash on both sides of the nose using a Nasowash starter kit.

Please note-
The first time before using and each time after using the bottle, it should be cleaned with a dishwashing liquid and left out to dry. Before the nasal douching is performed, the bottle should be rinsed with the prepared sterile water( boiled and cooled drinking water/ normal saline).

After finishing the sachets provided with the starter kit, you can either buy the salt sachets or you could instead use 1 tsp of non iodinated rock salt with a pinch of baking soda for performing the nasal douching.
