Does pollution worsen allergies and sinus problems?

Yes, pollutants can increase allergenicity of allergens many fold making symptoms more severe in urban environments. 

What are the risks of untreated chronic sinusitis?

If left untreated, sinusitis can lead to chronic headaches, sleep disturbances, and even complications like orbital involvement.  

How can parents help prevent ear infections in children?

Preventive measures include treating allergies and respiratory infections early. Also ear cleaning/wax removal should not be attempted at home as this may result in injury of the ear canal/ear drum which can lead to infections. 

Can tonsillitis be treated without surgery?

Yes, tonsillitis is usually managed with antibiotics and/or home remedies, but recurrent cases, complicated infection or very large tonsils may require a tonsillectomy.
