Sublingual immunotherapy - SLIT - is specifically designed for home administration, and this is the feature that distinguishes it most practically from SCIT and that makes it the immunotherapy route I most often recommend for families in Eastern Uttar Pradesh who live at significant distances from Varanasi or whose children cannot attend clinic weekly.
