This is seen in patients who are very disciplined and they are very compulsive about certain thighs. So they have a tendency to brush a lot and brush very frequently. Because if excessive brushing there is a wear or loss of tooth structure, one is attrition or here is loss of tooth structure, as is a faulty bite. If your bite or occlusion is correct then there is a balance in the stomatognathic structure. When there is an imbalance then it is called as ATTTRITION in such kind of wear there is certain education and certain methods to improve the second way is ABFRACTION.
