Awareness of what we eat is essential. Food consciousness involves mindful eating, where individuals make informed decisions about what, when, and how much to eat to maintain their health and well-being. This also includes awareness of food safety, food waste, and food-borne illnesses.

The primary focus of this industry is ensuring the large-scale availability of food, which, while beneficial in preventing food crises, has impacted food quality.
