Common pediatric allergies include food allergies (nuts, dairy, eggs), environmental allergens (pollen, dust mites, pet dander), and medication allergies.
While some allergies can be effectively managed or desensitized through immunotherapy, many children learn to live well with their allergies by following personalized treatment plans.
Babies should have their first pediatric check-up within the first week after birth and then regularly as advised, typically at 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and annually
Most mild illnesses can be managed at home with hydration, rest, and appropriate medication, but persistent or severe symptoms should be evaluated by a pediatrician promptly.
Milestones include smiling by 2 months, sitting unsupported by 6 months, walking by 12 months, and speech development milestones as per age-specific guidelines
From newborns (preterm/term) to adolescents (up to age 18).
